This Privacy Policy explains how McDOKU ("the App") handles information when you use the app.

Information We Collect

McDOKU collects only the minimum data necessary to operate the global leaderboard:

• Nickname — a name you choose yourself (up to 10 characters) when submitting a score. This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identity.
• Score data — your puzzle completion time and mistake count.
• Difficulty level — the level you completed (CHILL, EASY, MEDIUM, HARD, or EXTREME).
• Date — the date your score was submitted.

How We Use This Information

The data listed above is used solely to display rankings on the in-app leaderboard. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or Apple ID.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

Local Storage

The App stores your personal best scores and dark mode preference locally on your device using standard browser storage. This data never leaves your device.

Data Retention

Leaderboard entries (nickname + score) are retained on our server to maintain the rankings. You may request deletion of your entries by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

McDOKU is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
